2013 JEWELLERY DESIGN AWARDS
The Jewellery Design Awards are run biannually in Lightning Ridge NSW, Australia and is one of the most prestigious opal design competitions in the world.
Run by International Opal Jewellery Design Awards Association (IOJDAA) they were created to promote free-form and or undulating surface opals in exquisite jewellery.
‘Wait a Minute, It’s Coming to Me’ was a piece I entered in the 2013 Design Awards. It claimed first place i the Nine to Five Wear category.

LIGHTNING RIDGE JEWELLERY DESIGN AWARDS
‘Touch’ – First Place 2011
‘Touch’ was a piece I entered in the 2011 Opal Jewellery Design Awards at Lightning Ridge where it claimed first prize in the Fantacy Section. The centre piece is two beautifully cut Queensland Boulder Opals, that hang off a 22 carat yellow gold hollow curved tapered tube.

Earths Curve – Winner 2000 Australian Gemstones in Jewellery Design Awards
Run by the Jewellers Association of Australia and sponsored by Gemmological Association of Australia the Gemstones in Jewellery Design Awards covers not only Opal but all types of Gemstones. Earth’s Curve won not only the Opal section but the whole competition.
